Sam Adams Latitude 48

image

For this Brew, Sam Adams used Hops grown around the world on the 48th Parallel.   These hops come from Germany, England and the Pacific Northwest of the US.    The beer is actually mildly hoppy for an IPA actually showing more thickness as far as mouthfeel and a slight sweet finish.  Definitely an IPA for the colder weather.

Bahamas 2010

On September 7th of 2010 I went to the Bahamas with Kristie, RJ, Michelle, Tia and Galo.

Here are the pictures from the trip.

More pictures to come as they are sent my way.

Old Thumper Extra Special Ale

image

Sticking in the micro brew category we cross the pond to Ringwood Brewery out of Hampshire, England.   This is a medium bodied ale packed with flavor and a slightly hoppy body.  Weighing in at  5.6% alcohol this is not a beer that will weigh you down.

Stoudt’s Brewery American Pale Ale

Whats not to love about this beer?  First off you got to love the packaging!  There is nothing pale about this beer!  I would call it a lightly hopped beer and find it perfect for spicy dish’s.  Truth be told, i marinated my steak in it the other night with nothing more than sea salt and fresh ground pepper added and the feed back was great!
